On International Corporate Philanthropy Day, February 23, 2009, CECP convened fifty-five leading CEOs at The McGraw-Hill Companies in New York City to discuss corporate philanthropy, peer to peer. NBC's Tom Brokaw led a conversation with Jeffrey Immelt, chairman and CEO of GE, and Carlos Ghosn, president and CEO of Nissan, stimulating a new level of CEO engagement in corporate social investment. This high-profile program allowed global business leaders to participate in a timely discussion regarding pressing issues impacting corporate philanthropy.
In this video, Tom Brokaw involves the audience by asking them to respond to two questions. The first asks them to rate their personal involvement as a CEO in their company's philanthropy and the second asks them to consider how they face the crucial decision on how to best approach their community investments today.
