Kodak Playsport ZX5 used as a Dash Cam 1080p

The audio recording doesn't handle bumps well at all, but I think it does very well otherwise. It seems to do a good job of filtering out other noise when people are talking, I had a conversation in the car while recording and everything said was very understandable. The video quality is surprisingly great, as is the image stabilization. The flexible mount is a Sunpak PlatinumPlus Click n' Stick (suction cup failed to hold to anything, until I stuck it on my forehead and got some grease on it. Now it's held great for two days so far), and the pad it's mounted on is a generic GPS mounting pad - no adhesive holding it to the dash.

The software is incredibly basic. You can cut, add text, change the audio, add transitions, and add a handful of effects (there's no way to "place" them on the video in a spot to blur out certain objects) The one advantage it does have is when it exports the video, there is little if any quality loss.

I plan on getting a wide angle lens attachment in the near future.

@SuperCarsGT3 You aren't going to get a ton of detail, but it will sound pretty good if you're on a quiet street or in a garage. There is no option for an external mic unfortunately.
