@WTC7SMOKINGUN This is true, you end up being 100% faster due to doing only one pass.. it can take more Hp but depends on what you are trying to mulch? Our machine runs a QSX 15 cummins at 540hp.. mind you the only time we us all our hp is when we are cultivating.
I am building a tracked mulcher myself and want to use the reverse rotation head . In my mind I can see it would be better for one pass mulching , negating the need to keep reversing to re process material . Would I be correct ? It looks like your machine is this way and is very efficient .
@ptboy4 Do I even bother to replie to this?? The fact that around 90% of our work is for enviromental agencies count for any thing?? This is gourse which releases lot and lots of nitrogen into our waterways effectively killing our lakes. This is a very effective way of getting rid of it. We have hundreds of hectares of it. Most of the work we do is getting rid of pest plants such as this import in order to replant with NATIVE TREES AND PLANTS!!! Try not to be so short sighted...
@MultiMonster69 Thanks :-)
