Super 8 Film - Last of the Good Guys - Quartz Mountain

I shot this film at one of the Quartz Mountain Gatherings (Quartz Mtn. State Park, Oklahoma) - I think it was 2006. The route is called Last of the Good Guys and it is being climbed by Russell Hooper.

This film was shot with Super 8 Ektachrome 64T on my Zeiss Ikon Movieflex camera.

This film has been unedited and remains in its original format - no sound, no color correction, no editing. Just one continuous shot. Interestingly, once the film ran out (about 2 mins) - I had a DV camera around my neck and shot the remainder of the route.

This was a VERY windy day at Quartz and I was hanging in my harness about 80 feet off the deck just trying not to get blown sideways.

This is great footage - film is super real - The movieflex seems to make E64T look like K40 with better colour.
