Before the days of political correctness in Canada, one there would rise and render honor to the nation by way of **this** song. It is nice to see an American anglophone honouring the good people of Quebec, but, hopefully, here's a chance to see the
(historical) greater picture in text and song.

  • Hey this is cool. I sort of remember learning this song when I was a kid. Maybe I can practice it and tape it, too. Thanks!

  • The desire to be free is not living in the past, but in the future. I am not the one clinging to an old and dead Empire...

  • @Xerxes2005 like the liscense plate says "Je me souviens" always living in the past.....

  • I guess that it is understandable that an American choir would leave out the second verse:

At Queenston Heights and Lundy's Lane,

Our brave fathers, side by side,

For freedom, homes and loved ones dear,

Firmly stood and nobly died ...

Still, it's a nice version of a great song.

  • Well Said!!

  • I love to hear the Mormon Tabernacle Choir!
