A moment in my treatment of Multiple Sclerosis using Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN).
Symptoms and Prednisone Infusion.

I hope none are offended by this talk. My intention is not to make light of this very serious condition, which has devastated the lives of many, but instead perhaps focus on overcoming, understanding and beating this thing down. Enjoying life.

I apologize for mentioning my band at the end. I got a little caught up in a moment and didn't know where to go.

Also, it is questionable at best to believe that my recent "flare-up" was caused by forgotten doses of LDN. There are many factors involved in the anatomy and life cycle of this condition. I would not wish to speculate so greatly on that possibility. Although it may have been a factor.

These are simply my opinions in this matter. Nothing more.
I do not believe we are victims to this condition. I do not yet know how we attract this into our lives. The body is such a wonderful mystery. Perhaps we can somehow let this thing go by means other than crude medications and the like. Find Peace, be still.

  • dude u are cool as hell im female been on avonex 6 yrs i am 33 i got 2 kids age 5 i begged 4 ldn got it took it 2 weeks researeced not supose 2 take with avonex so i stoped i been sleepin like 6 days straight with coffee im up 4 about 2 hours back asleep i eat good postive gona continue my avonex i dont think id be walking without it u think its safe to take 2mg ldn with avonex anyone input thanks i am scared may go 4 my drip keep strong

  • I’m not sure there are any warning about taking Avonex and LDN together. And while LDN supposedly helps regulate the immune system, Avonex suppresses it, in theory.

I believe it is possible for LDN (Naltrexone) to arrest the progression of MS. I see no harm in taking them both. My doctor has recommended that I include copaxone with my LDN (since I don’t respond well to Avonex). I have yet to agree. I like LDN, so far.

    I wish you well.

  • I'm wondering if you heard about an MS diet like the the Best Bet Diet It shows what foods to avoid and what we should be intaking more like Omega-3 and vitamin D and Green Tea Extract I am loving your positive attitude man, I'm trying my best to follow this diet, it's hard, but I'm getting better at it. My MS isnt the worst but I'm taking all precautions worse comes toworse the diet doesn't work and I have a healither body. I'm making more visits to a naturopath Just gotta Live long and prosper

  • Yes, I've been considering altering my diet to something like what you mentioned, or at least eliminating potential allergy foods, like corn and corn syrup. I do take supplements daily- which I believe can have an opposite effect; taking energy. It's all so confusing. I will look in to that diet. Thank you.

  • I'm interested to find out about LDN.

BTW do u know about CCSVI ?

  • Vivianne, I definitely like LDN and will continue. However, I am very interested in CCSVI and will pursue it further. Especially since recent events in my case are making me consider this more. Thank you for bringing it up!

  • Dude your awesome, I have MS and have been through many of the struggles you have mentioned, left eye vision loss, steroids etc, etc. I have been struggling for many years and now sit more than I stand. I have been on it for three weeks and I have already seen improvement my balance is better, my strenght is better. These small improvements are hope for the future, maybe three months from now I will stand more than I sit. Thank you for sharing your story with us. Stay strong and be well,

  • A good friend with MS greatly helped by LDN. There are many articles on how to cut the cheap full strength pill with distilled water and keep it in the fridge and take a fraction each day so one pill will last a month. There are many articles on nitrating Naltrexone and so you should do your homework well. Google Nitrating Naltrexone
