Documentary from 1991, presented by Jessica Holm.
This program is primarily about the ability of grey squirrels in Britain to obtain food from seemingly impossible locations, despite the best efforts of human beings to prevent them.
There was a program made some time earlier, 'Daylight Robbery', which I don't have.
He also hides things when we go walks and remembers exactly where he hid them when we return "sometimes many weeks from when he hid it"

More research needs to go into squirrel intelligence, "at least publicly" my squirrel responds to commands and often figures things out like how to open the cashew container "not chewing it open like a rat would do" he's so inquisitive and you can really see him thinking when faced with a problem. Its really fascinating to watch on a daily basis.

I saw this when I was a kid and dreamed of having as pet squirrel ever since, in 2008 I found a baby in my yard and now I have the GREATEST companion imaginable, far smarter than any dog I have ever had and far more loving :) I absolutely love my squirrel!
