Jonas Brothers Movie a Flop?

Is the Jo-Bro Glow running Low? We're about to find out!

Hey guys, I'm Joslyn Davis for ClevverTV coming to you from the heart of Beverly Hills. Critics of the world famous Brothers say that the recent box office disspointment of the Jonas Brother 3D movie means demand for the guys might be going down. BUT Fans of Kevin, Nick and Joe need not start panicking just quite yet, and here's why:

First off, let's talk about why movie critics are calling the Jo Bro movie a flop. Before the flick hit theaters, insiders were speculating that opening weekend sales would be upwards of 40 million dollars. That said, insiders were shocked when the film only raked in 12.5 million bucks. But this is where critics need to get a little perspective. Raking in over 12 million dollars for any movie is pretty impressive, AND especially when it's a 3D movie. Let's not forget that very few movie theaters even have the capacity to show 3D movies, which means lots of fans had to travel long and far to even get a ticket. Also keep in mind that the status of the economy isn't exactly what I'd call stellar, so it's safe to assume that some young female fans probably had trouble scrounging up the cash for the higher priced 3D seats. So was the movie actually a flop??-I don't really think so.

Unfortunately though, the bad box office results are only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to problems on the Jonas Brother front. To add insult to injury, the Jonas Brother Movie Soundtrack has failed to unseat Taylor Swift from the top spot. Talk about the ultimate break-up revenge. The lackluster success of the recent JB release has fans suggesting that maybe Joe should get back together with Taylor so he can figure out how to sell more records. What do you guys think? Either way, it's safe to say that despite their recent downturn, the Jonas Brothers are still way more successful that almost anyone else in the movie or music industry right now. They just released word they'll be doing a nationwide tour in 2009 with American Idol Jordin Sparks. AND they are busy at work on their new Disney TV show and a feature film with the Fairlley brothers, which will be called "Walter the Farting Dog." I think you can bet that the Jonas Brothers still have plenty of time ahead of them. But why do you think they're movie didn't do so well? That movie was totally awesome. When I went on opening night, the theature was full and it was just like the concert! People were screaming, singing along, dancing in the aisles, and we were even chanting 'Jonas, Jonas!' when the lights went down the the movie didnt start yet. It was one of the best movies of all time
