American Clean Energy & Security Act Passes the House!

On Friday, June 26th the U.S. House of Representatives passed the American Clean Energy and Security Act. This historic legislation will put the U.S. on the path to slash the carbon emissions that cause global warming 80 percent by 2050, a signal accomplishment necessary to preserve the planet for future generations.

A.K.A. massive energy tax bill passes the House. All of these "new jobs" won't offset the greater number of jobs that will be lost due the devastating effects of the emmissions quota in the energy industry alone, let alone the rest of the economy that will be paying through the teeth for energy.

What is really needed to combat climate change is more research, which cannot occur in a distressed economy. By ignoring economic science these good intentions are causing more harm than good.
