Car Rattling Noise

A noise I get from my car in between 1,500 and 2,500rpm. It happens regardless of gear and clutch position. Is this a transmission problem or is something just loose and resonating?

sounds like heat shield or cat converter to me.

I took my 94 Honda accord to the shop to get a new timing belt and water pump put in when I got it back I starting hearing a rattle noise I took it back to the shop and was told it would stop.. It's been a month later and it still rattles so I took it back to the shop today now I'm waiting to see what's going in...

i just put my truck back together and am getiing similar noise, i am sure my problem is the brand new bearing whizzzing around. good luck

dude my 91 integra does the exact same thing! ive been trying to figure it out for a while now. mine does it 1500 rpm-1800 rpm and also rattles at 3k. glad to see im not the only one going paranoid. took it to a mechanic several times and he didnt find a problem. maybe check out the exhaust manifold something from the downpipe
