Aurlandsvegen I

www.mctouring.no This is one of my favourite west coast roads. Rather than going through the tunnel from Aurland to Lærdal, i prefer the road over the mountain. On the climb from Aurlandsvangen you have a beautiful view over the Aurlandfjord, on the mountain you can enjoy hiking and fishing in the small lakes along the road. On the descent on the north side of the mountain you ride along Erdalselvi through a narrow and changing valley down to the Laerdalsfjord.
