Reykjavik, Iceland was one of 1000 cities taking part in the Occupy movement around the globe. Still suffering from the 2008 collapse of the Icelandic bank system, people have been protesting against the government who they say is working for the financial system on the exspence of the people. Hundreds of billions are used from public funds to pay the depts and loss of private banks and other private companies, resulting in ever more and higher taxes and cut-downs in the basic welfare systems of Iceland.
