From Enya's Grammy winning album "The Memory Of Trees".

It was a brand new piano and some key actions were not finely tuned yet. The water and bird sounds were unintentional but it did add a cool new age feel to the recording :P

  • so beautiful! five stars!

i hear water sound in background, is that on purpose or..

  • :P I forgot to turn off the water pump for fish tank outside.

  • Thank you for this Jeremy!

I must have my piano tuned soon so I can have some fun, too. Been playing with electronic lately but love the tone of the real deal.

    Thanks again,

    Debby

  • Debby, I have been playing electronic for 15 yeras and only recently got this piano for my daughter. Nothing beats the sound of a real acoustic and the amount of control you can have on the keys and pedals. Wish I have space for a grand.

  • I couldn't remember if I had commented on this video, Jeremy. It looks like didn't, so I am now - its great! And yes, you did beat me to it. But only by three years or so.

  • Its good to hear a piece of music played without electronic enhancement. O.K. the incidental backing was there but as you say it added to the mood.

Thanks for a listen to the slightly older member of musicfamily.

  • WONDERFUL.

    AMAZING.

    TOUCHING.

do you hace the music sheet?

  • beautiful ....

wish i could learn to play the piano ...

    huhuhuhu....

hard to learn if u does't have a teacher ...

  • no, dont turn it off, it gives an extra beauty to the song :D

  • Haha love the added bird and water sounds. This is one of the best covers of this piece I have seen on youtube - expressively played with lots of feeling. I'm probably nitpicking here but occasionally the melody is not smooth enough eg (1:35-40); and the bass sometimes get little too loud, some 'rubato' in the middle section (1:05-30) would add a nice touch too. Great job nonetheless!
