Robert William Gary Moore (4 April 1952 -- 6 February 2011), better known simply as Gary Moore, was a musician from Belfast, Northern Ireland .
Great among greats, blues / rock guitarist perhaps best know for his tours with THIN LIZZY had many solo albums crossing many genres . Gary has been listed as a influence on many of todays rock icons .

@1987phillybilly As far as I know, Moore recorded a couple of different versions of this song. My father has the Wild Frontier album on cassette (I have it on CD - I loved this song when I was a kid. Still do!) and there are two versions on that.

First time hearing his voice, and I am very impressed. Gary Moore is an incredible singer, shame about him being dead.

One of the greatest musician in rock and blues history! His concert in the Olympiahalle in munich in 1989 was my first big concert ever. So many vivid memories come back when I watch this video. What a great decade for music anyway. Thank you Gary for your fantastic music. You were one of the best. R.I.P. Gary Moore
