no it doesnt... its the tension on the ball stack... the balls get pushed together... the rotor stops spinning

From what Iv seen. I havent seen one in person. There is a gear that moves over to shut the motor off when the ball stack is full. This is just what Iv seen. I really dont think it has eyes. (NOT SAYING YOUR WRONG)
