Elton John - Funeral for a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding (Live in Sweden 2009)

Real Video clip towrds the end! Great audio recording LIVE from Borås, Sweden 2009 June 21, combined with some shaky video and lots of photos from the show! The beginning of "Funeral" is clipped off this video cuz the whole song is longer than YouTube allows. If you wanna hear the opening chords, just take a look at my other video "Funeral for a Friend" - that one has the beginning, but the ending is cut off. Go on, take a look ........ ;o)

The synthesizer introduction to "Funeral for a Friend" was beautifully arranged and performed by Elton's fantastic keyboardist Guy Babylon, who very very sadly has just past away (2 September 2009). The original introduction, as heard on the "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" album, was composed and performed by David Hentschel. Guy Babylon was such an amazing keyboardist with the Elton John Band, since 1992! He will be greatly missed.

Please listen to the other video "Funeral for a Friend" and remeber Guy Babylon in his great musical performance!

BTW - Listen carefully to the musical transition between Funeral for a Friend and Love Lies Bleeding: Notice how Elton forgets some of the chords? Funny .... I think maybe he was distracted by the Beautiful Swedish Sunshine!
