I was wearing these when I had my accident. The bike landed on my leg and ankle- if it were not for the boots my injury would have been much worse. Great boots for the price.

I was looking at these, but I was also considering going for Alpinestars Ridge waterproof boots, as I've heard good things about them as well. What would you recommend?

I'm sure there is huge price difference. Alpine always makes good gear, and they probably look great to boot (sorry). The Tour Master have many many thousands of miles on hem and have become a staple for us. For the money, and even without, they are really great and held up well. A quiet comfortable sole for walking, waterproof for sure, and warm. We just compared them to a far more expensive boot and they won. MVR
