good work! I'm looking at buying something like this, seems like a lot of fun.

is there a good site to get music videos that work with this (not protected itunes files) that are a decent resolution?

Hi Momo, i wanted to thank your for the vids and your website, they are really helpfull but i steel have some question about the NUVJ,
First it appears that i can not record the thing that i am doing ("creating")
second i am working on a mac an i can't work on my desktop while i am mixing video with arkaos. It will be great if you could tell me how to devid my screen in two parts so i can project the video on the big screen and working on arkaos on the computer screen.
thx a lot

Does it have the Keying effect? Like masking part of a clip content based on a color, kinda like green screen effect? If so could you show how to use it?

Great job! 5 stars!

That's funny, I think I got it, thanks
my question is can I use this mixer to just play music video files and mix back and forth between music videos. I do country dances and would like to be able to play say a Travis Tritt video on the big screen and then mix from it into say a Dwight Yaokam video and basically just DJ with it using my music video collection. Using the ambient stuff is great for when I'm just playing an audio track without a video.

Yes, you could. It's not really set up for beat-matching, though. If you're trying to do that, you may be disappointed. You can, however, set up in and out points and crossfade between the two. Also, you will probably need to re-encode your video collection into a performance-based codec like Motion JPEG in order to get things nice and smooth.

hey, very good video!
a question tho: can you pause the clips and start them from where they were paused?
and also can you for example load a 10 minute clip and skip to 4 minutes in and start the clip from there? (or can it only start from the beginning)
many thanks!!!

Well, you can use the pitch shifters to FF and REV through a track, and then switch over without Fader Start on, but what you're asking for is real 'Cue' functionality, which it does not have at the moment.

Hi this is D.J Doctor P-H-D from Detroit, if the video you're working on has music on it but you would like to put your music over the video, do you need to save what you edit to your computer before you put the music over it. Thanks for your time

You would need to edit and re-export.
