My brother installing my new MSD Ignition Coil on my 2000 Dodge Neon ES. I told him he could do the second half after I removed the stock one. It's kinda our thing we do together. We work on my car. And we will do the same for his car once he gets one. :)

  • If you keep upgrading that engine it can become a real monster. Aside from getting a bad rep as cheap cars (mainly from faulty non mopar parts in the engine ie head gasket) the neon engine was a fore runner including new powdered metal parts and reworked valve train. you could turbo the engine no problem. Me and my buddy (both studying engineers) gutted a neon engine and ran some test and if our math is right it can take 330hp at the crankshaft before stressing and damaging major components.

  • @Depthhider Damn. That's pretty impressive. If I had the money to turbo my car I would. Maybe some day. :)

  • @Robdoggierob Dude Godspeed .70 a/r turbo like 200 bucks ebay. the rest is cake. and they make turbo manifold so no drastic mods. easy shit less than 800 and you could be boosting. like 8 psi without other shit, like, fuel pressure regulator fuel rail rods keep pistons so you dont have to hone anything and dont do cam you dont need topend unless ur turboing. ull have horrible take off i mean more horrible take off lol. neway.

  • @xaIkyrie Haha thanks for the info. I no longer have this car as of a month ago any ways. :(

  • WOW U DID AY GOOD JOB WITH THAT COIL PACK

  • You will only see a difference if the previous coil was faulty. Its a coil. It will not arc any better than the previous coil. Remember, electricity is lazy, it will not do anymore work than it has to do. Stop cussing. It looks pretty, but that does not make HP. Buy some better tools like Snap On.

  • neons rae slow !
