  • Every competent performance of this music is inspiring in its own way. Is one better than another? That depends as much on the listener as anything...I could listen to this one fifty times over and not tire of it. But others also beckon.....Thank you

  • @dier190 i totally agree with you.

  • Absolutely beautiful. Bach, The Father of the Music.

  • you are right, dier190, nada que ver con la grabación de Kempff , donde sí que hay pasión, sensibilidad, y un sonido como no he oido igual. una música maravillosa. me la regalaron hace muchos años, por casualidad: quien me la regaló no sabía lo que había comprado: fue un descubrimiento para mí.

  • I have loved this piece by Kempff's verison since 3 or 4 years old... when I asked my teacher for this piece for my concert she denied, I know this was really really difficult for a regular high schooler to play, she gave me this music sheet.

This is a piece from heaven and Kempff gave us a chance to enjoy it.

  • Kempff's own recording is infinitely more sensitive and passionate...Still the old school rules!

  • This is Prelude from E major solo violin Sonata.

  • definitivamente esta mujer es talentosisima no le quito majestuosidad a la obra a pesar de la trascripcion a piano y el tiempo excelente

  • This piece of music is incredible - has been a favorite of mine for about 40 years (since I heard Wendy Carlos play this - Switched-On Bach). This performance and this transcription are spectacular. There is a clarity on the piano that cannot be achieved on the organ. That's my belief anyway. I'm eating this up! Off to amazon to see if this is available on CD or MP3. Very much enjoy Bach-Busoni transcriptions/arrangements, too. Simply marvelous!
