Yeah Charter fucking blows if you want to play XBOX live. Either lags me out before the game even starts or will do it early in the game sometime.

Charter sucks!!!... I play a xbox live. I probably get in half a game before I lag out. I get on the computer, every day or so I have to turn off the charter box and router just so I can access the internet. About every five minutes I'm on the computer I get a blank web page error. I have to click the reload button and if that doesn't work unplug the charter box again. (wait 3 minutes and plug it back in). This is a lot of hassle..

I'm going to a different provider thats all. Can't take the blame game anymore. IT'S NOT MY EQUIPMENT CHARTER! 2.5 years no problem until you hooked up the neighbor and now continued problems. Both the phone and cable modem keep timing out and rebooting but won't get past the Down Stream until i manually disconnect them and reboot.

I pay for (up to) 16 and 4, but I typically get 3 and .03 speed. Shame that Charter doesn't guarantee a minimum connection speed. Also, Charter is allowed to bill you for service that is available. It doesn't matter whether you are actually able to receive their service. The only way to change their practice is to let your elected officials know you want legislation to have metered service for cable providers.

I have no problems with the internet just the cable tv service.
My sister used to have cabletv and internet with charter but her internet keeps disconnecting and not mine.
When my sister moved in her new house, charter was so damn lazy to come cut the cable wires and they gotten like one year of free tv service.. they found out though but didn't get into trouble.
Glad they have ATT Uverse now.... ATT internet is slower though

Charter sucks!!! glitchy and drops me all the time. doesnt work for crap on xbox 360 live... i have 10meg it shouldnt be this bad... worst part is its my only option..

I like how all you hear on the internet is bad things about a company...You never hear from the good experiences by most of the customers. It's the same reason why the local news channels don't like to tell you good news like a good samaritan changing an old lady's flat tire because it doesn't get ratings...
