It's ironic that in Indian society PDAs are frowned on.
If you've been to India and visited the ancient temples there. . .particularly the Khajuraho ones, you'll soon realize that Indians are FAR from the prudes Europeans imagine them to be.
Indian art is legendary for it's free-spirited eroticism, which would make European Christians blush.
The Greeks were open about their sexuality, but their depictions of sex within their societies was rather TAME compared to ancient Indians.

Being 'gay' just wasn't an issue in those days! In many ancient cultures men commonly enjoyed relationships with both males and females.The young and beautiful Persian boys were quite popular I believe, lol. It's only in recent history that same sex relationships have become a kind of taboo. Though thankfully it is more accepted these days.
