yup i recently switched from on board realtek to asus xonar got an increase in bass by like 100% sound quality is much better too.

and beats are terrible for the price. sound quality is meh, the only reason they are so big is because of the advertising. a simple 50-100 dollar headset with a good sound card will make your headset go from crap too boss

i got steel series siberia v2 for gaming, and a asus xonar sound card with an AMP = POWER i get huge bass from this song. even more on others.

Just get some cheap radioshack headphones. Last long, feel good on your ears. Not as good of quality, but will last a LONG time with nothing but duct tape.
