Haile Gebrselassie, who's arguably the greatest runner of all time (see: 2:03:59 marathon PR), sits down with our Amby Burfoot, who's no slouch himself (see: 1968 Boston Marathon win).

  • What a great guy. Out of interest - is it an Ethiopian thing to say 'Olompics'?

  • Ethiopian school is not good

But the Ethiopians and Kenyans runners are the best

I think the school- AMBU BURFOOT -THE BEST

  • Would love to watch Gebrselassie vs Steve Prefontaine.

    Would be EPIC

  • Haile, you'e an inspiration to me. H's proven that you don't have to be tall and lanky to be a great runner. It's the heart that matters. The passion for running really speaks loudly. But also in his face, you can see the struggle he's had as a kid - growing up in the countryside.

  • anybody find amby a little bit rude? just a little little bit?

  • Why are Ethiopians fast runners? He asks. haha @ 6:10 "because people here are using car". Unlike in Kenya and Ethiopia where "life is like a running". Good answer.

  • He seems like a real modest guy when it's evident that he's a BEAST.

  • This man may be an alien. Even still, he's amazing and I really look up to him!
