@ryanakron I don't think it is a waste of time, Youtube is incredible mean to share things with the world. Also there are several popular Youtubers making careers out of videos on Youtube, so in that case I feel it is something important that we should study and learn from.
I love youtube, who doesn't? But come on; who in their right mind thinks taking a class on youtube is going to mean anything. It's people like this who waste their time in college taking these useless courses where they dont actually learn anything they couldnt have figured out on their own that makes me so angry at the collegiate education system. The instructor, institution, and the students should all be ashamed that they have wasted their time and resources on this pitiful excuse for a class
The anchors mention the YouTube political debates, which would have been a good subject for them to ask you about. But they didn't because I think they are dedicated to spectacle -- the spectacle of an "oddball" class or having "oddball" questions asked of politicians. They are abdicating journalism -- which seeks to lead with questions -- for cultural tourism, which just points things out along the way without comment. It's a lot easier and no one can call you an elitist.
