Mistissini Basement Rats- Unchained Melody

The Mistissini Basement Rats version of a song recorded by many artists. Some claim that Al Hibbler's version is the "original" but Todd Duncan did the song in the movie "Unchained" followed by Les Baxter's instrumental version, then Hibbler. There have been countless other versions, including by Jimmy Young, June Valli, Gene Vincent, Roy Hamilton, Harry Belafonte, Vito and the Salutations, Elvis Presley, Marty Robbins, Heart, Al Green, Roy Orbison, and U2. The most popular is the Righteous Brothers version that features only "brother" Bobby Hatfield (other Righteous Brothers songs also featured only Hatfield, e.g. Ebbtide, or Bill Medley, e.g. Georgia on my Mind, yet were credited to the "Righteous Brothers.")

The Mistissini Basement Rats are John Benac (lead guitar), Bjorn Olsen (keyboards), Ken Baillie (rhythm guitar), and George Oblin (vocals).
