    I have no idea how much, over time, I have found. Not ounces, that's for sure. I can get 1/2 to 1 gram maybe each trip out sluicing, if I work hard. Colorado placer gold tends to be VERY fine and flaky, so a lot of color but not a lot of weight. Advice? Yes. Go where gold has been found before, try to go with a local prospector to learn the ropes. Keep expecations low. Dig deep, work nedrock & cracks. HAVE FUN OUTDOORS!! Randy C-17A :)

  • how much have you found already . I live in colorado springs and i have a creek in my back yard that comes from the mountains im gonna start panning i got the gold fever i give you major props for doing it in the cold im gonna do it on 40 50 degree days . do you have any advise for me?
