The news today for stocks was good and the rally was a welcome relief from the selling over the last two weeks. The excitement around GM's IPO and the positive news in Ireland got stock futures rallying before the New York trading session even got started. Consumer and retail sector stocks continue to surprise to the upside, which should provide additional support to the rally in the near term. However, there are a few troubled sectors in the market that can act as spoilers.
