For this weeks Flickr Photo of the week I got on a call with NYC based Photographer Daniel Krieger . Daniel is a photographer that I met this year at Photo Plus Expo who added this really eye catching shot to the Flickr Photo Group. What caught my eye about this photo is the low angle, straight lines and overall quality of the image. Of course it is a cropped image but in this case it works for what he was trying to accomplish.

I love who symmetric this image is. Everything is just perfectly even from left to right and the fact that the top and bottom are not equal makes this image even more striking. It is amazing how much the subjects pop out at you. They were captured with a Nikon D3s and the Nikon 70-200 2.8 VRII shot at 2.8.

Take a listen to our conversation to hear more about this photo. Be sure to submit your images to the flickr photo group as well.

  • The Fro is awesome. If his videos annoy you, don't watch them. If he doesn't respond to an email, don't write him. But don't bash the guy for putting his name out there every chance he gets- it's business! I love the intro- short and simple. And you can't hate on the way he says, "Fro-Knows-Fow-tow . . . dotcom". Jared's videos have helped me out a lot since I just got into photography. If it weren't for him, I'd probably be shooting JPG and bitching about his videos on YouTube.

  • @Enited thanks, i try to respond to as many e mails messages tweets facebook messages comments chats skypes as I can. Sometimes its hard to catch up if im out on a shoot for a day or on location somewhere.

  • Fro...Knows...Photo!! ....com

Actually I can't enjoy your videos with that m a s t e r p i e c e intro missing. Therefore your jingle and logo are so cool. This is "Youtube class" not Harward collage!

  • love you man

  • Gosh fro. You could "seeing you got your s together" actually SHOULD, when offering one of these type of vids, show shots YOU and the INTERVIEWIE have done instaed of a frozen shot for X amount of min, religate the shot to a corner and continue with the interview with favorite shots done by you and your guest...or not. Just a suggestion. You should see the fro I had bro. I B white too.

  • Keep saying Fro Knows Photos Dot.com plz, don't change it let the complainers complain thats what they do you know, all day long. I love it at the beginning and end, it makes me smile and thats all that matters. Not to mention you do this for us for free, FOR FREE!!! How can anyone complain about not liking something when they are getting extremely useful information FOR FREE? Did I say for free enough? Yeah remember everyone, he does this for us FOR FREE. ;)

  • it reminds me of a rothko painting

  • Hey fro, your videos are great and very helpful. Not only that they are entertaining, unlike a lot of the other photog videos on here. Great work and don't change a thing

your intro is what captures the peoples attention.

  • @JaredPolin Dude, no need to try and explain yourself. Thank you for even taking the time to make these videos. Everyone loves the intro, those guys are assclowns. I'm still waiting for pt.2 on "how to price my photography". I just took up photography and I have a lot of friends asking me for prices and idk how to charge. By the hour? Per picture? Oh btw u should think about making a "I'M A TWEAKER" shirt. I saw the RAWvsJPG vids and thought that would make an awesome humorous shirt.
