Was the New Testament Forged? Bart Ehrman vs Darrell Bock

http://premier.org.uk - Sceptical Bible scholar Bart Ehrman's latest book "Forged" claims that many of the writings of the New Testament are falsely attributed to apostles such as Peter and Paul. He claims that they were not written by them and that a deliberate deception was taking place.

Darrell Bock of Dallas Theological Seminary responds, saying that the case for forgery is not as conclusive as Bart claims.

They examine the evidence for whether 1 and 2 Peter were written by Peter as well as letters attributed to Paul such as Ephesians and 2 Thessolonians.

@mythicalhell God being sovereign over history is exactly right. You're an unbeliever and so is Ehrman so I don't expect you to agree. It's a fulfillment of Scripture that you don't agree, Rom 1:18-20. Jesus being the promised Messiah, dying, rising, and Christianity spreading the way it did is better accounted for by God's sovereignty, not naturalism. If naturalism were correct, Christianity would have never spread in the first place. No one would have cared about a crucifixion.

@mythicalhell No, you're being a simpleton assuming I'm a simpleton. The fact that you're a moral creature and use the laws of logic is an extraordinary thing. You're proof of God everytime you reply on here and agree that murder is really always wrong. Allah and Santa aren't said to be eternal, those fail to 1. compare to God as defined in the Bible, and 2. can't account for real morality. Nice try. Evidence doesn't account for itself.
