@searchn4mytruth The purpose and benifit of SUN gazing is to know the meaning and purpose of this very life itself. That is to say realizing once SELF. SELF Realization is Realization of GOD. One can come out of the tentacles of materializm and realize SELF before one kicks the bucket. SUN is worshipped in ancient India by Egyptians, natives in NA. The benifits of SUN Gazing are numerous. One is Longevity, Healing, Memory improvement, eye sight. A practice of SUN gazing leads you to BLISS.

Take precuations not to gaze SUN when it is high. Early raising SUN with those bright organge golden rays are good for you. They are very mild and medicinal. Start with few seconds in the beginning. If you are still afraid then close your eyes and look at the SUN and try to visualize the SUN in your 3rd eye region(between eyebrows). The absorption will occur slowly within you. Good luck.

The reason there may be danger to one's eyesight are the following:

In a solar eclpse, because of the darkness, the pupils will dialate, and the coronal glow can then damage the retina. If you are on a pupil dialating medication should avoid solar gazing. The eyes are ONLY damaged by an increase in the fluid by 2-3 degrees F. In normal people, solar gazing will cause the pupils to contract, and the heat neeed to damage the eyes cannot exist. I've been Solar Gazing for 35 years-my eyes are fine.

Moon gazing seems more practical. I'd rather gaze at a celestial body that doesn't hurt my face like bear mace thank you very much. One time I looked at the sun for only about 5-10 seconds (during worst hours however) and developed a green spot on my vision that wouldn't go away for over a year. I can still faintly see it when I close my eyes, therefore I would not dare sun gaze. I am a half Arab with dark eyes on top of it.

This has to be done only when the Sun is rising early in the morning, or at the moment of the setting, just before it disappears at the horizon. and NOT during the day. if not you going to ruin your eyes.

@nsajja This sounds too good to be true. Could this really help my eyes? Seems that it would do the opposite. Did you condition your eyes first? I can only see like 24inches. Im nearly blind but can see perfect with contacts.I would go nuts if i lost whats left of my sight...but I have seen nothing but positive feedback from people that tried. I guess i should not wear contacts if i try this..
