For the most part the story mode is the same, not much has changed except for a few small things, though the Total War section plays very differently.

The biggest changes were made to multiplayer, and imo they ruined it. They changed it to a class based system with larger, but more boring, levels. Imho they took all the fun out of the multiplayer :P
