well i know the person who stared it and planed it and everything now we are just back to the starts btw its old its a mosque and we need it fixed i'm really angry besides there are churches every were they were 100 yrs and they were complely

built again 1 mosque no respect some people choose to be resist toward other religion

@taaaarik nicely said! even Alan Kirkland says what I was thinking. Put the new Mosque behind this building. Would that be so difficult? And the person who was helping to fund this (Jassim Al-Kharafi, so I hear), who is a billionaire. Cant he buy some of the land behind the building if there isn't enough space? Then everyone's happy. I am all for there being a Mosque, but at the same time I used to go to school there and it would be a shame to see it torn down. I agree Mosques also look nice!!

I thought this whole thing was ridiculous. How many churches are around camberley and it's area? Over 10. And there is this only one Mosque, which is very old & in good need of an update and repair job. They didn't even want to build a whole new Mosque..Just have it repaired. How people think that's asking TOO much beats me. Their new construction plan looks beautiful btw

ok 1st of all, i personally dont appreciate everyone's racist, bigotted comments. n i cant "fuck off" back to my own country cos even though i'm muslim i'm also english, stuck with me. racism doesnt have a place in this country these days.

However,i dont think they should knock down some exquisite english architecture, its part of this country's heritage and should be cherished.cant they just knock a few walls through or something?a traditional style mosque is beautiful but so is this building.

I used to go to this school... It sickens me to see my old classroom and school used this way. I remember having to say god knows how many 'lords prayers' before play time, dinner time, in mornings and at end of school. Why do they get to build these things. Before long we wont have any churches left! Sad to hear and see this! :(
