i took this from the kitchen window.i hardly ever hear crickets at night but that time they were super loud.so i took advantage and recorded the sound

i live in new york state in the city ans suberb area.for some reason id hear the crickets from mid afternoon to nighttime when the days are getting a little shorter starting in mid july.but i love them.when i attend evenign church services at night i hear them cuz my church is in the country.

im in the city thats why.also its weird how crickets make the sound in mid july or august instead of all spring and summer.wish id hear them more.
