This song always makes my heart beat a little faster, it is so fantastically composed and sung. I wish something equivalent could be made in today's day. I feel robbed as part of this generation that we don't have access to the wealth of culture that existed during Lataji's time. Thanks to mediums like these we can glimpse into what the past had to offer.

In one of her interviews onn TV, the Great Lataji was asked which of her songs would, she wd imagine, be difficult for an actor to sing on screen...She cited this song and gave great credit to NUTANji for "singing" it so well...How right MUBARIK To both of them...BNB

This song clearly shows what kind of a great Khayal singer Lataji could have become had she chosen to be a pure classical singer. Who else can display such a talent with such a sweet voice except her? Hats off to this inimitable Nightingale with loads and loads of unlimited talent!!
