No e-ink, no interest.

Cybook Bookeen supports pdf and it's eInk.

i had the same problem, but I dont think youll find any ebook reader which does a good job of PDF at the moment.
e-Ink technology is immature, and everyone has rushed out a reader device with not that much thought as to how people want to use them.
I did a real in depth study of all ebook devices last month, and initially I decided not to buy, but in the end I had to abandon my plans for good PDF support, and got a sony reader instead. For reading texts its the best in its class.

That's an ugly-looking device. I bet the designers at HP were busy like fugg trying to figure out what would appeal more to their targetted market segment.

Cool looking, but you really need eink if you're going to make a serious ebook reader.

haha, he says the consumer is stupid and doesn't know what he wants and what is possible. i'd say that's generally true.
i know what i want, and what's possible, but no companies make nice devices like the ones in my head. =(
