I think I'm understanding your strategy. You are making sure that Cherrim doesn't power up the Pokemon because when Sunny Day is in play, it transforms right.

Yep, that's exactly right. I need to summon a sandstorm so that Solarbeam isn't a problem. It also consumes a lot of Cherrim's time because it's constantly trying to change the weather.
