@important11000 Why should she give her ALL when there's lip syncers (that I won't name) out there giving concerts and never singing even one note? I think she should start lip syncing that way she can put on a world tour without worrying about vocal exhaustion. She's one of the few vocalists that sings live and really doesn't deserve the complaints.

@sexyboi2000 Toni had lupus which effect her heart and breathing. Mariah has nodules on her vocal chords which are very painful. They both still have their singing ablities they just have to take precautions.

i prefer the live renditions of her songs back in the day. i still love her though she just doesn't sing as strong as she used to for some reason.

@ewilliams09 Hear hear! Let's add to that list Dionne Warwick in her prime. She often performed very challenging songs without backing vocalists and had to hold back the microphone because she could project her voice so powerfully.

@sexyboi2000 Toni said that she has to under sing nowadays, because the industry has changed so much. I guess because the "singers" today have so much backing and support to help their voices sound strong. Mariah, Whitney, and Toni are from a time when singers were actually traditional singers and not just entertainers you know. Yes, they can all perform and entertain, but those 3 can just step up to a mic and let it out without all of the backing, synthesizing, lighting, and back-up dancing.

I agree with the comment that Toni spends too much time trying to be sexy because she can truly sing and sometimes she doesnt give a song her ALL because of trying to keep up a sexy image.
