Hi,
Thank you for watching my videos. I wanted to upload my newest set of dehydrated apple videos. Please let me know if you have any questions. You can also see us at efooddehydrator.com.
First, I washed and dried the apples.
Then, I used my mandolin to slice very think apple slices.
Then, I sprayed lemon juice on my slices.
Next, lay them on trays, about 1" away from each other.
In all, they will take about 10-14 hours, set on 135 degrees.

I hope you dehydrate something today! Thank you for watching, more coming soon!

  • what is the proportion of water and lemon juice - do you use "real lemon juice concentrate? or organic lemon juice?

  • @MeezersRcool- Hi, I use 75% lemon juice, 25% water. I also use Real Lemon Juice, available at most stores. If I could find organic lemon juice, I would use it. All the best, stephanie @ efooddehydrator

  • Is there a lemon taste from the spraying? Can you let me know the temp and total time it took to completely dehydrate these apples? Thanks!

  • @TheBgcheez - Hi, no lemon taste at all. I use 125 degrees for my fruit temperature setting. It takes about 10-14 hours to dry. I like to flip them over about half way through. Thank you for watching!

  • oh my! that is so dangerous to use your slicer without the gripper that comes with the set. wow. have you cut yourself yet?

  • what type of mandolin do you use? I was looking at the Borner Pro...but now I can't decide between the plus, pro, or power models.....I would really like to have a container for the food to fall into (that comes with it)

  • @KillerNomNomz - only in appreciation from the people who see my videos, and buy our items we have for sale. We have food dehydrators, oxygen absorbers, drying sheets, books and more. Hope to see you at efooddehydrator.

    Happy Thanksgiving . :)

    Thank you for watching.
