electroliners - loose caboose (crazy train), original unedited mix.

dj dan & jim hopkins teamed up for several outings in the mid 90s as the electroliners, mostly for remix work, but their one big single was "loose caboose", an unstoppable slice of funky breaks from san francisco that hit big worldwide in 1995. 1996 saw the release of the "loose caboose dubs" ep, which featured the unedited full length version of the crazy train mix from the original 12". here it is in all its glory!

  • i was in a warehouse in oakland,ca for planet new year!!!!!i was on some liquid acid fryin my brains out.....dj dan was playing this shit!!!!

  • @vagliker First time I heard DJ Dan, it was at the September 30th 1995 rave held in the 3 - level underground garage at the southeast corner of King and Spadina, Funky Tekno Tribe - Tribal Gatherings. That party was so dope. The mix tape can be downloaded if you look for it on google. Another great mix tape from DJ Dan was the United We Stand new years eve party 1996. I was there and he played a wicked set. If you havn't heard it, I recommend it.

  • you only left the past but for a second

  • who has a CD of this?! I haven't heard this in FOREVER

  • first time i heard this played was by one of my fave dj's from the toronto 90's rave scene, John-E. i must say that i completely lost my shit when i heard this on a giant system in a warehouse filled with about 3000 other people freaking out. i love the combination of 4 to the floor and devastating broken beat. the contrast in rhythm kept this track moving to the point i didn't want it to end. this kicks the shit out of the original mix, and that says alot!!

  • Awesome remix!
