Is 3+ months a record for me? I don't remember. Anyway, to avoid doing my final history homework of the year, I decided to upload some stuff.
I was happy to see a video of Phil doing this song, basically teaching how to do it acoustically, and it's pretty cool. I do it at all my shows, even though I don't think most people have any idea what it's about.
Comments would, of course, be appreciated.
Wow - you really do the song proud! Nice job! How did you discover Phil's music ? Thanks for keeping his music ongoing! Have you gotten the chance to see the documentary on him? I think it should be on DVD soon!

Nice rendition of a great tune. See if you can do another take of it with a couple of violins to do the counterpoint that was in Phil's studio version :-) Great job and thanks for posting. Also, it amazes me how few people any more have even heard of Phil Ochs. He wrote great, timeless music. I have a hunch that Phil wasn't even around by the time you were born. I would certainly think that is ok, Bach wasn't around when John Williams was born either! :-)

Phil Ochs was a talented songwriter and your rendition is great. Best of success to you in all you do.

I always thought this was about asking and giving forgiveness.
Nice rendition.
Phil Ochs is the best.

I'm surprised at your apparent young age (college?) and your choice of songs. I had been trying to learn 'Changes', and found you here. Nice job.

The only reason I have this a shot was because I could't find Phil Ochs version. I was suprised. You did an excellent job. Thank you !!
