Other comments... As for Pete's attitude at the end - hey, if your opponent has a 9-bagger going into the 10th, you GET OUT OF HIS WAY! What Pete did was actually good bowling etiquette.
I just wish the PBA Tour ran like the JPBA, rather than have the look and feel of a tractor pull with a loudmouth like Randy Pederson. The JPBA is still a very professionally run org. Thanks, Ritsuko!

I know! Talk about unlucky, but then again he has 44 titles, so I guess it's not all bad. Before walter retires though, I'd like him to throw a 300.

Well, if you're talking about the end of the match, he was just trying to get out of Walter's way, I think.
WRW locked up the title in the 9th frame and had a perfect game going. With no chance to win, it's good manners on a TV final to throw your shots quickly and let your opponent get after the 300 as quickly as possible.

It seems like whenever it seems like Walter is about to bowl 300, something screws him. The 10 pin in 1993, solid 8 in 1996, and solid 7 in 2006.
