Spectacular Storm Front Over Murwillumbah

While checking out the madly famous BOM rain radar at about 6.30pm, 20th November 2008, I spied what appeared to be a gnarly stormfront approaching ye olde Murwillumbah towne. The view out the window was shocking.
This storm brought only a little hail - although the sky was bright green in some places - and some rain. It wasn't nearly as intense as it looked. However, as you will see it was movie-like as it approached and passed overhead.
This was filmed with a Canon G7 point-and-shoot camera.

The cell looked awesome with the shelf cloud at base,looking back at my rainfall records we received 32mm at Bonogin,great footage.

@ehslittleone18: i think this was with the Canon a75, its broken now, and my newer camera the g7 can't zoom while filming...

I was in the area when this approached, and we were pretty much in hysterics. Never seen anything like it before or since. It looked like armageddon, but there was remarkably little damage, except for displaced outdoor furniture from the huge wind gusts and of course, torrential rain as well. It was a bit crazy.
