This is the third video from Gurren Lagann Parallel Works which is a new take on Gurren Lagann in the form of music videos. The Official Gurren Lagann movie is coming out in theaters soon, so as part of celebrating Gainax is teaming up with other animations to make music videos featuring GL characters in alternate universes. A new video will come out each week.

This is the BEST use of 'lounge music' in an anime since I heard Yoko Takahashi's 10th anniversary 'cover' of CRUEL ANGEL'S THESIS which she sung as the main title theme to NEON GENESIS EVANGELION in 1995.

Even if an anime show is crap, the music for it is RARELY all crap as well!
