im 16 and im going to get my motorcyle license and i ride motocross and im good with controlling bikes is this a good starter bike

Hell yeah. It's a good, all-around bike. I bought mine as a commuter bike, but it's definitely a great bike to start out on. I started out on a 1997 Ninja 250.
