  • question: why did Jennings leave big bird at an intersection in the middle of nowhere??

  • I remember going to the movie theater in '86 and watching it, and could;t stop crying about the bluebird… oh man lol

  • Waylon Jennings is AWESOME and made the awesome of this movie multiply greatly.

  • I just noticed the Imperial Japanese theme of Bert & Ernie's biplane.

  • I like this song too, even though I'm well past my Sesame Street watching years.

Just wanted to nitpick about something, not that it matters much - looks like Maria took her cue to start flailing her arms a few seconds to early, seems like she is waving her arms before the car really starts shaking from going off the road. Just wanted to point that out and found it a little funny.

  • @mohinderbauer: Yeah. Oscar secretly likes everyone, but Maria especially. But then, everyone loves Maria, it seems, as one of the Street's original human characters.

  • And you can count the telephone poles!

  • I never realized how awesome the count's license plate was!

  • I wonder where the Count's car is today. I bet it's gathering dust in a warehouse in London somewhere. It would be so freaking awesome if one of the shows on the History Channel or Travel Channel at least brought it out of storage to showcase it today and try to give a value on it. If it still ran, and had all the parts from the movie, that sucker would be priceless to Sesame Street/Muppet fans.

  • Waylon learned all the backroads from the Dukes. No wonder he knew where Sesame Street was.
