ALDF Founder Joyce Tischler Honored for Advancement of Animal Law

The American Bar Association Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section (TIPS) Animal Law Committee honored Joyce Tischler, Animal Legal Defense Fund's founder and general counsel, with the Excellence in the Advancement of Animal Law Award. The award was presented during the American Bar Association Annual Meeting in Chicago, IL at the TIPS Animal Law Committee Awards Reception.
The award recognizes exceptional work by a member or leader of an international, national, regional, state or local bar associations animal law committee, who, through commitment and leadership, has advanced the humane treatment of animals.
