  • How long was the render time per second of animation? No Vray used at all, just pure 3DS MAX? Cool.

  • Most frames took only 20/30 seconds but some (the chair with reflective metal) took up to 5 minutes per frame. There are 25 frames in 1 second of animation. Best: 8 minutes of rendering for 1 second of animation. Worst: over 2 hours for 1 second of animation...

  • which software???

  • rendered with 3ds max and edited in Adobe Premiere.

  • Wow an actual animated VRAY scene this is fantastic how long was the render?

  • No Vray, it's all done with 3ds max Radiosity.

    I am ready for Direct X10 and a powerful new video card along with a QuadCore. REAL time reflections... on the fly. That is the ticket!  Maybe some day. I can dream!
