Will goes Solo in a Glider

Thwarted by grim November weather Will had to wait 2 days after his 16th birthday to complete his final checks before John Burrow could send him solo. 100% confident, with the sun sinking and virtually no wind, JB secured the rear cockpit and left Will to go and slip the surly bonds on his own.

I got to go solo in a k13 when i was 15, my mum did 40 years before me also in a 13, I think my grandad may have been in a 13 too or a k7... Gliding is easily the best thing my mum n grandad got me into. Good job with your first solo from another young glider pilot. :)
