WOOOOW! so this is Aurora Australis! i'm so amazed, it's so beautiful i really like it .. so many stars and shooting stars .. wonderful color of Aurora ..

Is this normal to see such Auroras in New Zealand? Beautiful all the same :)

Hi, you can see the aurora at the lower latitudes of New Zealand. However, to be able to see it here in Tekapo, it needs to be very active. There will probably be more solar activity over the next couple of years:)

And there is another thing on the top of my to do list: See this! Needs just a flight arround half the globe. Well, I could go to norway but there are a lot of other things which are worth to be in NZ again!
